Alessandra Bajec holds a Master’s degree in Conflict Resolution and a Bachelor’s degree in Political Science. Multilingual: Italian/French native, fluent English, good Spanish, basic spoken Arabic.

From 2010 to 2011, she lived in Palestine, where she made her first steps as a freelance journalist. During that time, she reported on news events, conducting interviews and writing articles for local media. She also contributed as English radio newscaster to Voice of An-Najah (An-Najah University). She is currently based in Cairo.

Her articles have appeared in the European Journalism Centre’s magazine (EJC.net), the United Nation’s humanitarian news agency IRIN, Russia Today’s website rt.com, TeleSUR English website, The Majalla, Middle East Eye, The New Arab, International Finance Magazine, Perspektif, CounterPunch, Women in the World, The Progressive, Al-Ahram Weekly, Geopolitical Monitor, Nigrizia, Reset, Terra Santa and more.

Her interests include the MENA region, geopolitics, human rights and peace/conflict.

Alessandra Bajec est titulaire d’une maîtrise en résolution des conflits et d’une licence en sciences politiques. Multilingue: italien/français langues maternelles, anglais courant, bon espagnol, arabe parlé de base. De 2010 à 2011, elle a vécu en Palestine, où elle a fait ses premiers pas en tant que journaliste freelance. Durant son séjour, elle rapportait des sujets d’actualité en interviewant et écrivant des articles pour des médias locaux. Elle a également travaillé à Voice of An-Najah (An-Najah University) en qualité de présentatrice d’émission radio en langue anglaise. Elle est actuellement basée au Caire.

Alessandra Bajec possiede un master in risoluzione dei conflitti e una laurea in scienze politiche. Multilingue: italiano/francese lingue madre, inglese fluente, spagnolo buono, arabo parlato di base. Dal 2010 al 2011, ha vissuto in Palestina, dove ha fatto i suoi primi passi come giornalista freelance. Durante questo periodo, ha riportato fatti di attualità, conducendo interviste e scrivendo articoli per media locali. Ha, inoltre, collaborato con Voice of An-Najah (An-Najah University) come conduttrice di un notiziario radio in lingua inglese.  È attualmente basata al Cairo.
